Malenia has a nasty bug in Elden Ring

  • In Elden Ring, Malenia is very difficult to deal with. Her major difficulty is that she can heal herself by hitting you with a sword attack. However, there was an issue with the game that strengthened her. A bug meant that when the player summoned an ally to help against her, she could heal herself without actively touching the player.

Let Me Solo Her, the premier expert, called to fight Malenia, posted a video of the bug in patch 1.04. In the video, players can see Let Me Solo Her fighting Malenia, which is quite a fight as she keeps healing, even though Let Me Solo Her dodges all her attacks perfectly. And for regular players, they need to prepare enough Elden Ring Runes to strengthen themselves to defeat her.

Let Me Solo Her could still kill her. This player became a legend in the Elden Ring community for a reason, but other players noticed the mistake. This can be because of lag or server differences in online games. The Elden Ring may have recorded attack hits, but only partially.

One player using EX-Eva on Reddit said he has seen no one posting this offline, leading him to believe it’s the result of multiplayer stability improvements mentioned in the patch notes. As others have pointed out, it may hit players in the host’s world, not on their own screen, which records healing but not damage.

This is consistent with the way she heals offline. If players die in her Waterfowl Dance, if she continues to attack after death, she will heal them when she walks past their corpses, even if she doesn’t deal damage. FromSoftware has been tinkering with Elden Ring since the game’s release, and the most recent patch has several bug fixes, including one that nerfed its extremely scary blood dogs. Players can also choose to buy plenty of Elden Ring Runes at IGGM if they want to face dreadful bosses with ease. It offers the cheapest price and the most professional service. Try it!
