Elden Ring’s co-op mod is playable in open beta

  • Modder LukeYui’s project to bring a seamless, user-friendly co-op mode to Elden Ring has entered public beta, with the mod available for download on the Elden Ring Nexus. Players all want to get some Elden Ring Runes for better fun. And Elden Ring’s co-op gameplay is severely limited. It’s limited to an open world. Players can’t ride horses, and co-ops are sent home after defeating a boss.

FromSoftware’s formula may understandably experience some growing pains during the transition to an open-world design, but co-op is one area some players feel they really haven’t adapted to adequately. In some players’ first games, they are lone wolves most of the time.

And new mods provide even better ways to play Elden Ring with friends. LukeYui is experienced in tinkering with the online features of FromSoft games, supporting Sekiro’s multiplayer mode, and the Blue Sentinel project addressing hacks and security flaws in Dark Souls 3. The seamless co-op mode allows for uninterrupted play, allowing multiple players to ride their own torrents so they can enjoy Elden Ring with friends.

Play as long as they want, rather than the base game’s “ships in the night” co-op style. The mod also has its own launcher and connectivity, independent of the EAC, similar to LukeYui’s offline launcher, meaning players can enjoy this style of play without compromising their status in normal online play. And if players are interested, try the new feature now and have some fun by buying some Elden Ring Runes at IGGM.
