There are some players who already have enough Lost Ark Gold for the new endgame event, but it’s less than expected, and some think it makes Lost Ark feel pay-to-win. Not everyone was glad with Lost Ark’s first major update, and one of the main features was an event only for players who had reached the pinnacle of its endgame crawl. A boss fight called Abyss Raid, designed for groups of 8 players, against a guardian named Argos.
Players need to be at tier 3 and have item level 1,370 to reach it. They can increase their item level in Lost Ark by honing their gear, which requires luck and regular infusions of crafting materials. It’s a tough process. Therefore, many players also use boosting services to achieve their goals. In the new announcement, Amazon Games explained it was a mistake for them to release the March game update too soon after launch.
Data they analyzed along with previously released data from Smilegate RPG predicts that most players will reach the level required to challenge Argos. However, they ignore certain variables, such as players spending more time on horizontal content, and higher prices for honing materials because of bots and real-money. Since the crafting materials required to reach item, level 1,370 are scarcer than expected, very few players pass tier 3 without spending money.
Amazon Games says they’ve seen players worry that releasing Argos before a significant portion of the player base upgrades to Tier 3 will make Lost Ark pay-to-win. They never want players to feel rushed in pursuit of item level 1370. They considered offering Argos at launch, but saw Abyss Raid as an important stepping stone that would help bridge the gap with the end-game event that hasn’t been released in the Western version of Lost Ark. So if players want to do well at the event, they need to buy Lost Ark Gold. IGGM has some guides, and it’s giving away 6% free Lost Ark Gold right now per order. Don’t miss out, try it now!
