Kirby and the Forgotten Land Gameplay Clip Shows Fishing

  • On account of a title that looks to open up into a 3D world, or if nothing else 3D stages, as Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the small games and side substance can be as important as the main through line of the title. So, having Nintendo of America share a clip of gameplay for some of this side substance including a classic gaming show should just build up Kirby fans' energy for the upcoming title.

Shared on the official Nintendo of America Twitter, the engineer has shown a short clip of Kirby fishing, complete with a little overlay out chair and container hat. As a result, fans have already started to share their own interpretations and memes of this clip, all of which join the steadily developing list of Kirby and the Forgotten Land memes.

In the short clip, Kirby sits at what appears to be a peaceful little lake prior to casting a fishing line into the water and waiting momentarily to get a nibble. After a couple of moments of pulling on the fishing shaft, his catch launches out of sight prior to dropping into his hands and revealing that he's been rewarded with a Blipper for his difficulty. The entire thing passes in about eight seconds, yet this has been a very sizable amount of times for fans waiting eagerly for Kirby and the Forgotten Land to latch onto the image and start spreading their own memes.

Inside a couple of hours of Nintendo of America sharing the short clip of Kirby fishing, fans had already immediately overflowed the replies with their own recreations of the image. This also has some fans speculating whether the clip is specifically showing gameplay as most are trusting, or on the other hand assuming this is just going to be a short scene from inside the game's narrative. Considering that Kirby and the Forgotten Land's gameplay already shows potential from course objectives and significant piece mode, a simple fishing mechanic would be a welcome inclusion.

It's almost uncanny the number of games choose to plunge into the treasure store that is the fishing little game while attempting to fill a game with any sort of open gameplay. So, with Kirby finally striking out into 3D spaces, this feels like a great addition to the series as either an oddball small game or a consistent one across numerous locations. Regardless, the memes revolved around Kirby and the Forgotten Land alone may be definitely worth including fishing for even the couple of moments that Nintendo of America has already shown.
